Incoming 1Ls / I'm all done
« on: March 25, 2005, 04:19:43 PM »
My last letter came today, thus ending my admissions season.

Final tally:
Dings: UVA, Boalt
Waitlists: Michigan, William & Mary
Accepts: UT, Vandy, Iowa, Notre Dame, Wash U, UC Davis, Houston, Santa Clara

Thanks to everyone for the advice and assistance. Good luck to everyone still waiting. Best wishes to all.

Maybe I'll pop in once in a while as a 1L to give the straight dope from UT.

I'm out.

e-mail notification from Michigan offering me a spot on the waitlist.

Better than a flat-out rejection. I'll most likely decline. I'm just glad the wait is over.

Since a) this is my first rejection, and b) I've been complete since 11/22, I feel I deserve my own thread.

Thin rejection letter from Boalt received today in Texas.

Incoming 1Ls / One more FAFSA question
« on: February 10, 2005, 02:40:25 PM »
Sorry, folks, but if someone could set me straight:

so I filled out the FAFSA with estimated tax numbers, then did the correction to send to an additional 6 schools. So I have transactions 01 and 02. Now that I have filed my taxes, I need to make a couple of corrections to the numbers.

1) do I go correct the numbers transaction 01, then the numbers on transaction 02?
2) do I correct the numbers on the last transaction (02) and send to the second 6 schools, then correct the last transaction again to send to the first 6 schools?

Obviously, I'm a little confused.
