Since Catholic dropped to tier 3 and I got waitlisted at American, I will probably end up at Seton Hall. 2

Anyone else worried that the October exam will be especially brutal? Last year's December exam seemed so much easier than the October exam with the harsh curve.

Where should I go next fall? / To those who have done Americorps« on: February 08, 2005, 01:41:05 AM »
I'm seriously considering taking a year off after graduation. Americorps sounds like a good opportunity, although I won't be able to save any money. My question is, how competitive is it to get accepted into the program? Does everyone get accepted who applies? And is it more difficult to get into certain programs? I could not find this information on their website. Thanks.

"Approximately 25 precent of the 2003-2004 class identified themselves as members of an ethnic minority group, with seven percent reporting African American heritage, eight percent with Latino/Latina roots, and 10 percent as Asian-Pacific American." 6

Anyone else waiting for their Dec. score to apply?
I know it's rolling admissions, the earlier you apply the better, etc. etc. however, I'm guessing my Dec. score to be anywhere between 156-162, which could totally change the range of schools that I would apply to. I just don't see any practicality in applying blind and making "donations." I hope this doesn't affect my chances too much. I talked to Anne Richards from GMU and she said that they wait to see their whole applicant pool before making many of their decisions, except for auto admits/auto denials of course. It would make sense that schools would want to see how their whole applicant pool turns out. Thoughts? 10

Do you all know of people who transferred to another law school. Is it "easier" to get in as a transfer? Say if you do well at a lower ranked school and prove yourself than could you transfer into a better ranked one?
