Law School Applications / Really need some advice - please help....
« on: December 16, 2004, 04:50:14 PM »
Hey everyone-
I really need your opinion on what I should do about my dilema.  Last year, I started a MBA Program.  I only took a few classes and by the end of the semester, I decided I wanted to go to law school instead.  I did really well, I got A's in both of my courses.  But I decided not to continue and save my money for law school.  Now, I am really confused on how I should approach this and try to explain it to the admissions comittee.  Will they look at this in a negative aspect because I did not complete the program.  How should I explain it to them?  Should I write an addendum or should I just not mention anything at all?  I really appreciate any advice you have for me.
Thank you  ;)

Personal Statement / Can someone send me or post the format of their paper?
« on: December 16, 2004, 04:13:11 PM »
Hey everyone-
Can someone please send me or post your personal statement in correct format. I am just trying to figure out the little details, like where to put my header, what should all be in the header, where to title, how to indent, etc.  I want to make sure it's prefect in form.  Thank you so much, have a wonderful holiday  ;D

Personal Statement / To Indent or Not to Indent on your PS???
« on: December 15, 2004, 04:43:14 PM »
I was told that you should either indent all paragraphs, or do not indent any.  What are your thoughts??  Do you think it's better to indent all or not indent any?  thanks  ;)

Studying for the LSAT / What if you recorded answers wrong?
« on: December 05, 2004, 10:39:49 AM »
I am just curious what would happen if you had the right answer that was circled in your test booklet, but you recorded on the scantron wrong.  Would they even consider scoring you from your test booklet?  Or what would happen?  I am sure this has happened before. ;)

Studying for the LSAT / RC Questions (Fungus and Hyppocratic Oath)
« on: December 04, 2004, 08:08:44 PM »
Was the Hyppocratic Oath Passage and the Fungus passage in the same section.  They would have both been in the first section for those of you who had 2 RC sections.  For those of you who only had 1 RC, did you have those 2 passages?

Did any of you get like 5 or 6 A answers in a row for the last game?  I forgot what the game was about.

Studying for the LSAT / Please tell me Section 3 (RC) was experimental!!!
« on: December 04, 2004, 03:48:40 PM »
Can anyone tell me for sure which RC was experimental.  I completely bombed the third one (the one with the money game in the last passage) and I did really well on the first one (the one with the fungus).  I have heard mixed thoughts - please ease my mind  ???

Studying for the LSAT / Question about writing out the certifying statement
« on: December 04, 2004, 03:37:05 PM »
Ok - this probably will sound really stupid, but by mistake I printed the statement instead of writing it.  it does tell you not to print - but to write (which i saw after i did it).  my proctor didn't give clear instructions, and after i did that i asked him and he didn't really say if i would be ok or not.  so the whole test long, i was thinking about it.  do you think they won't grade my test for some stupid reason like that?? ???
