Denials / ring a ling, here comes the Ding- U St. Thomas (MN)

Rejected today- 3.34/145/URM.

Meh, its ok, they were only provisionally accredited and the app was free to apply... :-\

At this point in the game, I'm probably going to re-take the LSAT in June and see what happens then.

Where should I go next fall? / Arkansas-Fayetteville

I got a thick envelope today from Arkansas-Fayetteville saying that I dont qualify for their index admission, but for me to send them a personal statement, resume, and why I want to go to their school for further consideration.

Is this like being deferred?  Has anyone else received this?

I'm definitely dont have the scores for a tier 1 or 2 school, so this came as a shock. I thought that I would be an auto-reject, but apparently not.

Does this sound like I have a chance?

LSAC and LSDAS / Majors on Transcript

When I sent in my transcript to be processed it only said that my major was Sociology. (My dumb academic advisor hadnt added my second major into the system yet and I didnt know until it was processed a few weeks ago.) 

So on my applications, would it be a lie to say that I have 2 majors now that it has been fixed officially by my university and I will graduate with a BA and a BS?  Or should I just list Sociology like it says on my LSAC summary?

Law School Rankings / Univ of St Thomas Law

I went to a forum today and received info from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I looked at the US News site and I can't find what tier they are in.  Does anyone know?
And does anyone know about the school in general? I had never heard of it.
I talked to the rep. at the forum and liked what she had to say and I plan on applying since it's free for online.

Where should I go next fall? / Help! Should I aim higher? (or lower)

Hi. I just joined this board but I've been reading for a while now.

I've been looking at sites about your perenctage of getting into certain schools. But being a black female I know that the odds of me getting into certain schools are better than for other people. Does anyone know how much this can help me?
I don't know anyone else who is applying to law school so I'm wondering if I'm aiming too low for schools (or even too high??).  Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

3.34 GPA from a big state school in Texas, taking the Oct. LSAT- averaging 161, double major in Sociology and Rehabilation Studies, clubs/organizations, work experience, and all that jazz.
