I'm hoping to go to Lewis & Clark (I live in Portland, own a house and don't want to move). Scored 165-170 on my practice tests, yet completely bombed on LR and LG and got a 161. Normally, I only miss 1, maybe 2, on LG - I missed 5 on the real thing. On LR, I usually miss 10-12 total - I missed 15 on the real thing. During the test I felt like I was in a panic on one of the LR sections and wasn't super focused on LG. I think I was overly confident and didn't study enough or take it as seriously as I should have.
I think that a 161 will get me into L&C (I don't have an UGPA, since I went to a school without grades, although the school is in the region, L&C is familiar with it and I did pretty well), but I want some money to help with tuition.
Should I retake the test in December? I'm 99% sure I will do at least a few points better and I think those points will help me get more money.
