Law School Applications / UT Tuition« on: March 29, 2008, 06:34:19 PM »
Apparently the Board of Regents of the University of Texas decied Wednesday night what tuition will be in all the various programs and schools this fall. Does anybody have a link to the UT Law School tuition for Fall 2008? I cannot seem to find any info. Thanks!

Non-Traditional Students / Dilemma: Closeby T4 or 100-Mile Away T1?« on: March 28, 2008, 08:47:59 PM »
I initially posted this under "Where to Go" but got a very vulgar response. I am hoping for a more civilized atmosphere here among us adults.
I cannot decide whether to attend UT Austin (T1) or St. Mary's in San Antonio (T4). I scored over 170 on the LSAT and attended a top-ranked college. The cost of attendance at St. Mary's would be $10,000/year less, and St. Mary's is close enough to my home to commute every day. UT is 100 miles from my house, so I would probably sleep at least a couple of nights a week in Austin. My husband and children would probably miss me. I plan to look for work in the San Antonio area, not the Austin area, so maybe I could make good contacts at St. Mary's. I am not looking for an 80 hour/week top corporate job. Would I be making an awful mistake if I attend St. Mary's? Do any of you know anything about St. Mary's? Thanks for any advice.
