Transferring / Transferring from Villanova/Tulane
« on: March 27, 2008, 04:31:09 PM »
I've looked at the Yahoo group database and there seems to be very little data on transferring from either of these two schools.  What would it take to transfer from Villanova or Tulane to Northwestern/Michigan?

Transferring / Where to start?
« on: February 29, 2008, 05:30:07 PM »
My ultimate goal is to transfer as high up as I can (ideally University of Michigan).  My ideal demographic would be Florida, Chicago, or Michigan.  With that being said, here is a list of the schools I've been accepted to:

DePaul
Santa Clara
Stetson
Marquette
Michigan State (75% scholarship)
Akron (100% scholarship)

I'm intrigued with the scholarship to Akron because it also comes with a very nice stipend award.  I want to minimize the debt I am to incur over the next 3 years, however, I want to put myself in the best situation to transfer or remain at the original school.  My question is simple; Which school gives me the best situation to transfer?  Which school gives me the best situation based on my demographic?  Which school offers me the best overall package entirely?  Thanks in advance!

I plan on starting law school at Michigan State University.  However, it is my ultimate goal to transfer to the University of Michigan.  Is this possible to achieve going from a T3 school to a top school such as Michigan?

I received 75% tuition scholarship at MSU and very little at Villanova.  Thoughts?

Should I go to Villanova with very little money or Michigan State with a 75% scholarship?
