I will be applying for the next cycle and was curious as to how everyone else choose the schools they wanted to apply to and are attending.
I currently have a 159 LSAT and UGPA of 3.3. By next cycle I will have a grad school degree and hopefully retaken the lsat with a 162-167 score. I also have $60,000 for school and the rest would have to be paid by scholarship or loan.
I don't really have any career goals in mind now. I am not set on BIGLAW or turned off buy it. I would like to maybe get a job where I worked a normal amount of hours and wasn't as horrible as some discribe there first couple years. I don't know if this is realistic or not however.
As far as scholarships go, how do they work? I see some are based on grades and some or guaranteed? Are they applied for separately or do schools just throw money at you with an acceptance letter from your current application? Also I also see a number of posts, "should I go here for free or here for full tuition..." What type of logic is used in these decisions?
Sorry for the newbish, loaded post. I can't find the search on the forum.
