General Off-Topic Board / Obama's gift

The average family will get an extra $20/week.  We need to encourage consumption and not investment in this time of economic downturn.  Good plan.

Obama believes that the first place to look for ways to strengthen Social Security is the payroll tax system. Currently, the Social Security payroll tax applies to only the first $102,000 a worker makes. Obama supports increasing the maximum amount of earnings covered by Social Security and he will work with Congress and the American people to choose a payroll tax reform package that will keep Social Security solvent for at least the next half century.

WTF....is this going to help bail out the overbloated healthcare system.  Let's take more from the people who actually buy high end goods, the only ones we manufacture domestically now.

I am nervous about Obama and the economy, should I hedge my bets with McCain?
McCain might prolong the coming of the end.

Is there substantiated evidence of a legit growth plan from Obama, or is he just a bottom up populist that will discourage domestic investment?

Where should I go next fall? / What would it take to turn down T6?

Interested to see if there are any scenarios out there that would make you give up a T6 acceptance.

I could see serious family/relocation problems making it tough.
