Can someone please explain this to me? What's an index number? Is that just an LSN thing?

So yes, I'm a splitter and not an auto-admit, as you can all see from LSN. My question though: Is it possible for LSAC to send adcomms the wrong info? Like is it possible that they got someone else's LSAT score or someone else's PS? I'm just becoming a little desperate because people seem to be getting much quicker answers than I am, with lower LSAT's. Even some waitlists that were dings for me. Sorry for the paranoia - just want to know your thoughts on this.

Anyone else being nominated for this? Any idea on competitiveness, timeframe of decision, etc.? Also - when you get your acceptance letter, do you find out if you're a finalist?

I really don't like laptops and would much rather have a desktop at home for law school....does anyone have any thoughts? Would I be at a disadvantage if I don't have a laptop?

Anyone have any idea just what kind of a credit score you need to be approved for private loans without a co-signer? Are we talking 700+ or 600+ of what?

Anyone else waiting not-so-patiently for an answer? I went complete on 10/5 and it hasn't moved since. On lawschoolnumbers a bunch of people say they got phone calls starting right before Christmas....anyone have any thoughts on this? It's my #1 choice so I'm going a little crazy here
