Law School Applications / Handing out Scholarships

I was curious what others thought about this:

If a state school with limited scholarship money is in the middle of handing out scholarships to accepted students, does it matter whether or not a student has already accepted the invitation? Would a school be less likely to hand out a scholarship to a student that they already know will be attending (ie scholarship money is used to draw particular students to the school)?

Recommendations / Post Office

So I went to the Post Office yesterday and took notice of a sign stating that they had gone to 41 cent stamps. I didn't remember the change and when I checked, the stamps I had at home were only 39. So it looks like the pre-addressed and stamped envelopes that I gave my recommenders had insufficient postage adhered. Awesome. I know that the letters were mailed in approximately two weeks ago and, with the holidays, nothing has shown up on LSAC yet. All of my apps have been filled out and reports requested and sent to the schools. The schools are only waiting on my LORs. I don't know what to do.

I gave each of my three recommenders a general form to fill out with their information and mail in. I want to ask them to fax in their letters tomorrow just in case, but am worried that, because I used the general forms, duplicate LORs could be sent to some schools in place of another (ie if they receive John Smith's letter by fax and process it and then by mail and process it before any others, his letter will be my two LORs for any particular school). Does that make sense? Should I just go to them, have them fax in their letters, and go from there? Should I have them use another general form or fill out forms for each recommender and have them use that?

Any advice would be great!

Law School Applications / Big Question about LSDAS Reports and Transcripts

If someone could answer this question for me, that would be great! I have all of of my electronic apps filled out, and I had my transcript sent in about two weeks ago, but it hasn't been received and processed yet. When I go to checkout and send my apps it requests a LSDAS report for each school. Can I submit the apps now, before the transcript arrives and is processed? Do I purchase the reports now? I'm just worried that blank reports will be sent. Will the reports be sent out when the transcripts are received? Thanks!

Where should I go next fall? / Need Advice on List of Schools 3.38/164

Graduated University of Wisconsin-Madison with a GPA 3.38/ LSAT 164. 1st semester I struggled, got a 2.3, and it climbed ever since. Here are the schools I'm looking at:

Wisconsin
Minnesota
Arizona
Fordham
Notre Dame
Boston College
Marquette

What does everyone think? Any reaches that I should be paying attention to at this level? Thanks!
