I hadn't given much thought to this until now; but are 1L's eligible to apply for judicial clerkships? I would imagine federal would be hard as a 1L to land but what about state?

Unfortunately my parents are not well off financially and my credit history is not bad (no negative action ever taken) but I do have a lot of student loans out and a few credit cards that are lowering my credit score. I think this effectively rules private loans out as a good option (I have some from UG with higher than Gradplus rates).
I've read online that GradPlus loans do not run a credit check in the sense that your credit score matters, they just check to see if you've had any negative actions in the last 5 years. Is this correct? Freaking out just a little about how law school shall get paid for.
I do not read much about Minnesota on this board and prior posts leave a lot to be desired as well. Any current students? I am from the midwest and I am interested in Minneapolis as a future place of employment as well as Chicago, Dallas, and DC. How is placement in these areas? Any other general info about the school? I think I am a reach for MN but definitely interested. Thanks!
I sent in an updated transcript. I just graduated in December. Now, no schools show up in my degree granting 4 year institution and all of them show up under "other institutions attended" The GPA etc is updated, but does not include a degree date. Is this normal? I hate to mess something up with applications because of this! Anyone who graduated in December know if this happened to them as well or did they misplace something?

I have an LSAT addendum and if you volunteer to read it you might get a good laugh at my expense! But I seriously need a little help as to how to word my situation and whether or not that is the best explanation to use or not. Thanks! Just reply here and I'll PM it.
I got my PS almost ready and want to get my apps of next week (took Dec LSAT plus waiting for transcript update, made huge difference) so, i could use 5-6 people to give it a look over for punctuation, see if I am delivering a strong point, and that it flows well. I'd appreciate it and am of course willing to read your PS in return! Thanks!
MY LSN link is below, updated with a list today. I am really shooting for Tulane/Emory/American super longshot is Cornell but I speak French and want to do their dual degree France program. The rest are safeties/I would go there if i got a little money. Do you think this is a good list? Leaving any important onces out? I would really appreciate anyone's insight. Thanks in advance!
I know Tulane is a hot topic of discussion around here sometimes. As someone interested in international law with a 161 LSAT and 3.61 GPA; I feel it will be a good fit for me. I am going to visit Jan 8-11 and am very excited. I understand class is in session then, not sure they will let me sit in on a class but I hope they will! For any Tulane students, what are your thoughts on the school? I've read all of the posts on here about it, but in light of the changes in New Orlenas, do you feel the school has came out stronger? It seems I've read very few bad things about Tulane but any downsides would also be interesting to read about. Do you think I have a shot at any money with these numbers? Thanks!

Is it possible to find online any job I've had at some point through W-2 filings? I do not know the start or end dates at some, i've moved around a lot and held jobs in various states. If I do not include one or two due to lack of info, is it possible for them to find this later? Just wondering exactly how detailed this needs to be.

I have been filling out applications like crazy and all of them mention I can print it out and mail it or send a certification letter. Where do you get that letter? Do you get it after you submit online? Do schools consider your app while waiting on this letter or do they wait for it? Lastly, which would you say is better mailing the whole thing or mailing the cert? Ahhh....stress.
