Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Anyone fear a ding from a safety?
« on: December 07, 2004, 08:03:24 AM »
I figured I was an auto-at Mich, yet they've shown me no love thus far. I am assuming that isn't good news. Oh well, maybe I will get lucky and be one of the few lsn'ers from last year who got into yale and rejected from mich.

anyone else get no news from mich with good numbers? (i applied sept 30)

would it be inappropriate to put the acceptance letter on your t-shirt for the rest of the semester?

i think that would be socially acceptable

Law School Admissions / follow up on letter??
« on: November 10, 2004, 11:15:54 AM »
So after I applied to all my schools I was selected for a really good leadership activity (which my application was sorely lacking). So i sent a letter to all of the schools informing them of this recent addition to my application. My question is whether or not i should follow this up somehow to make sure they got it, or just assume it got there.

i dont want to piss admissions off, but at the same time i feel as though it could really help my cause to a few schools...

thanks kids

« on: October 31, 2004, 02:48:58 PM »
This is so bad. Ever since I got my apps out I have been checking my mail like 3 times a day (its on campus so stuff comes in throughout the day) and i am addicted to my email. I think i waste a solid 2 hrs a day with this crap. Anyone else going this crazy???

Law School Admissions / GULC fee waiver
« on: October 31, 2004, 02:17:17 PM »
Ive decided fee waivers are freaky things, and there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to garnering them...

that being said, anyone else receive every other waiver (by that i mean duke, nyu, columbia, mich, etc) and get slighted by gulc?

Law School Admissions / LSD and yale poll

I'm banking on 0, because I read this really funny article about how no one actually gets into yale and that the entire law school is a facade...
