I received my first rejection today from Michigan. I thought I had a good chance, so it was a little surprising to not even get a waitlist. I'm just glad I have some other great schools to choose from.
On many of the acceptance threads people often leave a comment like "Congrats, you deserve it!" It's a nice thing to say, but what determines if that person deserves it or not? Sorry, I guess my overly-analytical engineering mind feels that even compliments need to be logically correct.
A couple of the schools that have offered me scholarships have a form that asks whether or not I have chosen to accept the scholarship. Is this something I should fill out and return even if I haven't decided on a school yet?
