Where should I go next fall? / GULC v. Vandy($) v. GW($$)
« on: March 29, 2008, 04:07:14 AM »
I'm an undergraduate from Asia and I will not work on IP law. My LSAT is 168. I was admitted by all these three schools and their offers are as following:

GULC: no money for international student as stated in their website
Vandy: 75k (25 thusand per year)
GWU:  103k (30 thousand per year plus free first-year house)

Would anyone offer any advice or comments about where to go?
Thanks a lot.

Where should I go next fall? / How do you view my GPA?
« on: November 17, 2007, 02:33:41 AM »
I'm now a senior in a Chinese University which uses 100-scale score but not 4.0-scale GPA. After the JD CAS, the report showed that my GPA is "85.9%, above average". Would anyone tell me how is that result? Does it equal to a 3.3 or a 3.5 or any other GPA?

Thanks a lot:)

168/3.57(mainland China ), where to go?
Iím a junior from mainland China, Peking University(also called Beijing University), Law
School. My LSAT is 168, GPA is 3.57
Iíll graduate from PKU and apply for JD next year.
I was wondering if any may give some advice about my list:
U of Chicago
Michigan
Duke
Northwestern
Cornell
Georgetown
UCLA
USC
Vanderbilt
George Washington
And another question: Iím a undergraduate from mainland China. Will this add to the difficulty of my application? Thanks a lot.

Where should I go next fall? / apply JD and LLM for the same school?
« on: August 06, 2007, 01:31:07 AM »
I'm a L.L.B from China. I want to get enrolled by the LLM program of some law schools if and only if it's impossible for me to get into their JD program.
Is it advisable for me to apply for the JD and LLM program of the same law school? Or will the admission office feel that I'm not serious by applying both of them?
Thanks a lot.
