I'm curious as to how this cycle is being affected by the economy and want to see if everyone's call-back number has decreased.
I guess I'll go first. 17 OCI, and received only 2 callbacks (granted, I haven't heard from all my firms yet, but it's been over a week so I'm not holding out too much hope).
FWIW, I'm a transfer student at a T15 school.
Now, your turn...

Who is transferring to UCLA? I figure we can start our own small community since we're probably all going to be apprehensive starting over at a new school.

Just doing a quick check out there to see who is still waiting for grades. Can my school seriously be the slowest? I'm sure this is going to hinder my transfer prospects.

I thought that I would start this thread as a sort of "hub" so that we can link to some of the better posts which give good exam advice. I know I've read many great posts, especially before I started my 1-L year but exams were so far away that now I can't find them. Exams are no longer "far away"(less than a week!).
Oh and to those who would like to give their advice directly in this thread, please feel free (in fact, it is encouraged).
UVA_2L gives some great advice (scroll down a bit to get to the part about "General Exam Taking Tips"):http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,4011623.msg5123451.html#msg5123451
Jacy gives some words of wisdom here (She's (he's?) also given a lot of good advice on other threads which I can't seem to locate currently):http://www.lawschooldiscussion.org/prelaw/index.php/topic,4014167.msg5171302.html#msg5171302
The first two goods ones I have found. Gonna get back to studying, hopefully this thread fills up!

For those who don't know, I'm a 1L. I was wondering what the procedure would be to find an internship with a judge for next summer. Of course, I know I can't apply now, but I just want to know the procedure, or even how to go about finding a judge, etc.
I go to a school not in the region where I want to end up. The school's reach isn't going to go back to my home, but I have strong family ties, and I went to my undergraduate school in the area. I really want to try and get an internship with a judge from an appellate state court over there. So my search will be limited. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this was possible, and if so, how would I go about doing this.

I will most likely be starting Fordham PT this fall. I do plan on transferring to FT, if possible a year after, but I had a question regarding employment for my first year, if I do choose to go that route.
I know there are certain "do's" and don'ts" when it comes to looking for employment. Is it OK for me to try to contact firms and ask them if they have anything as far as job opportunities go? (I know it's a long shot) I'm more concerned about the rules than anything else.
Ideally, I'd find a PT gig working in some sort of legal capacity (semi-substantive, would be great), and I just want to make sure i'm not breaking any rules as I go about searching. What do other PTers do?

I'll be going to NY next week to visit Fordham. I was wondering if those who are familiar with NY could help me out in planning this trip. Note: I've never been to NY before.
Where are cheap, good hotels that I could stay? I'm assuming, I don't actually have to stay near the law school, I could commute there by subway or something. What are some points of interest? What are 'must sees'?

So I'm going to try this again in the right forum this time.
Who else is planning on going to Fordham this fall? So far, it seems to be me, and NYC or Bust.
I sent in my first seat deposit today. What are you guys looking most forward to?

Okay, so technically, I'm class of 2012 (since I'm PT) but I have hopes to transfer to FT and make it 2011.
I'm 99% sure I'll be attending Fordham. Who else is with me? I'd like to get to know some of my future classmates.
Anyone planning on doing a mid-week visit? I am. Give me some ideas as to how best to plan.

For some reason, I still cannot access the admitted students website. I've notified them and they let me know I should be able to access it soon (this was on Sunday, though).
I was wondering if anyone knew when the ASDs are for Fordham. I need to plan on buying a ticket and the sooner the better.
Also, I've looked around, but for some reason can't find what it takes to transfer from PT to FT after the first year. If anyone knows, that'd be great.
EDIT: I figure we can make this thread about Fordham and those who are thinking about attending - what questions/concerns we may have and maybe we can learn about the school together.
So who's all considering Fordham?
