General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Dropping out was the best decision of my life!

Got in, got scholarships, dropped out and am happier than I have ever been in my life! None of my friends can find jobs, and after leaving I worked in a sports store with 3 of my coworkers were out-of-work lawyers from top tier schools where they'd been on journals and had high GPAs. Yet everyone and their mom is still applying to law school...  hahah Have funnnn!

Law School Applications / Location, location, location...

Ok, I'm sure there are already threads on this, but how big of a factor is location for most of you? I just got into Cornell today which is by far the best school I've been accepted to so far. However, knowing myself I'm pretty sure I can't handle not being in a city - and so far I'm in at Brooklyn and Cardozo (w/ a full ride). So would it be crazy for me to choose one of those over a much more prestigious school? (If Fordham would actually get back to me on my application in the next century that would help matters too...)

Law School Applications / Any of you undergrads losing motivation?

The whole LSAT/application process thing sucked up most of my time these last two months and for the first time in my life I've gotten behind in school. But now that my applications are in, I'm having a hard time staying motivated. Anyone else in this same boat?

Law School Applications / Chances at Georgetown

I'm applying early decision to Georgetown with a 3.9, but I only got a 166 on the LSAT. I'm not confident my score would increase enough to justify retaking it (although I have scored higher on practice tests). I'm confident about my recommendations, PS & extracurriculars, and I also did a group interview with their admissions rep at my school, which I think went well. What do you guys think? Decent shot?

I was scoring between 170-175 on my last practice tests, but I got a 166. I feel like it's JUST low enough to be really disappointing, but not low enough to retake... what do you guys think? I have a 3.9 at BU too.
