You can wear them, but then to come on national TV and say you would die before apologizing smacks of idiocy and insensitivity.

Note:  Not sure if he said that during the CNN interview but its all over other news websites.

So, I'm going over Christmas break (first time).  Going to be there for four days, and was wondering if anyone had ideas of what to do.  I know they have a Van Gogh museum, which I'm dying to see.  Also, if anyone could recommend some nice coffee shops; nothing to commercial.  How does it work over there; do you buy the marijuana and then roll a joint yourself, or do they have pre-rolled joints?  Thanks!

Tries to cut his fingers off, he catches on fire somehow, so he cuts through his arm and basically snaps part of it off to escape.  Unbelievable.

General Off-Topic Board / Were these two murders justified?

I surely don't think so.  This actually disgusts me.

So I want this Bruce Springsteen song, but I don't want the album, and I don't want to pay for it.  Are there any sites that still offer free music downloads or is that a thing of the past?

I feel sorry for this poor animal.  Having an idiot kid shoot it eight times, follow it for three hours, and then shoot it point blank to kill it.  This kind of *&^% makes me sick.

General Off-Topic Board / Trained Killers?

FORT DRUM, New York (AP) -- Fort Drum soldiers said an ambush in Iraq that left four of their comrades dead and three missing will only work to unite America and strengthen the military's determination.

"If this is a scare tactic to undermine our resolve, they need to realize our soldiers are trained killers and don't scare," said Spc. Dorothy Drake of Los Angeles. "This is more incentive to finish the job.

I suppose soldiers are trained killers, but it's unsettling to hear this come from the military's mouth (even though I know it has before).

I don't think anyone has ever admitted being wrong about anything on this board, ever.  I guess that's what makes a lawyer though.
