Studying for the LSAT / December 06 Scale
« on: October 01, 2007, 03:12:05 AM »
Do you guys remember a scale in recent LSAT history that was more generous than that from December 2006?  I'm just curious to know how generous the one for the September 2007 test could possibly be, because I didn't really think that the LSAT from December of 06 was particularly hard.

Studying for the LSAT / Powerscore Weekend Course
« on: June 28, 2007, 11:06:15 AM »
What do you guys think of this?  I've already taken the LSAT twice and think to reach my goal I'll have to take it for a third time.  So I guess it's fair to say I'm not really an LSAT noob.  I just wanted to know if there would be any really big disadvantages in taking the weekend course for a person like me as opposed to the full length course. Thanks.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / LSN

I know that the averages and what not there are a bit off because it is a self-selecting sample, but in some cases it's absolutely ridiculous.  For example, the average numbers for the students accepted by UCLA are 3.73/170....that seems way overblown to me.  That doesn't jive with what their website says at all.  Ultimately I supposed I'm asking how seriously I should take the numbers I'm seeing on LSN.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Study Abroad Options
« on: May 18, 2007, 03:44:14 PM »
I was just curious to know how one would go about searching for schools that offered study abroad options in a given country.  Let's say, Norway, for example.  How could I search for all the law schools offering exchange programs with law schools in Norway? Thanks.

What is a law school "goon"? I've heard this term thrown around from time to time and just wanted to know exactly what it meant.
