Studying for the LSAT / Selling my LSAT materials (blueprint/Powerscore/LSAC/timer/more)

I took the LSAT back in 2007 and recently came across my collection of my prep materials. I obviously have no useful function for them anymore [beyond consuming closet space]... Therefore, time to sell. For complete clarity, I had a diagnostic score of 156 and ended up scoring a 165 on the real thing.

Items (collated according to brand):

LSAT proctor DVD

Blueprint Self Study Course (5 thick textbooks[16 lessons+Supplement], 100s of flashcards, all instructional/lesson audio files and the 100s of pdf explanations that came with it)

(Some items have been written in & others have not... If you hate pencil in your books and you hate erasing it, expect to hate some of the textbooks.)

I am going to leave this as a "package deal" for awhile and see if I can sell it all together for simplicity as an utterly comprehensive set for $400. (I can't quote shipping yet -- I will have to check out the P.O.)

Hey guys, if anyone here is looking for a job, you can apply to work for the search engine ChaCha. You are hired as a guide and answer people's search questions. You get paid 20 cents per response, which depending on how quick you can type, can really add up. I make about $8/hr. In 5 days, my total is at $215. And since you can work for as little or long as you want, its a pretty damn flexible job lol.

I'm sure plenty of you already have good gigs, but this is a pretty decent way to make a little extra change for gas prices, (if your like me) and online all day anyways...you might as well get paid!

But anyways, if anyone is interested and applies, it will ask for your referal code. PM me if you want to use me as a referal invite.

General Board / Important question for current law students.

Concerning the financial timeline for law school, when does a student receive his loan funds? (What is the schedule?)

For example, say Joe is moving across the country to law school. If Joe moves a month before class begins, through what means would he be expected to fund the expensive moving process/month‘s rent? Credit Cards? Old summer job income? Or will the loan have been received by then?

Opinions on my chances at GULC PT:

165 LSAT
3.85 GPA
Soft Factors: decent -- leadership role in small organization, etc.
Caucasian male
WV resident (maybe I offer some sort of 'hillbilly' diversity(?))


Also, I haven't decided if I am going to apply right after UG or if I am going to take a couple years off then apply (would have a job meanwhile).

Do you think that the couple years of "real world" experience would help me substantially with gaining admission?

Studying for the LSAT / Overall distribution of difficulty on LR sections.

My intuition tells me that, on average, the last 5 questions will be the hardest in a LR section.

Nevertheless, while reviewing my past answer sheets, it appears that I usually miss more between 14-20 than I usually miss after 20.

Does the difficulty decrease slightly on the later problems?

What is your opinion?

Law School Applications / Quick GPA question

Hello all,

Quick question: my school determines GPAs on the 4.0 scale (-\+'s are not considered during calculations). Yet, I have received more than a few A+'s thus far while there. Will LSAC calculate my "new" GPA on the 4.33 scale or the scale used by my school (4.0 scale)?
