Wondering if anyone applied to Harvard, Yale, or Columbia for their LLM program? I have decent grades from a decent school and a V30 job lined up. No journal. Contemplating applying and wanted to see if anyone had any stats on what is needed to get in. Couldnt find anything on a google search. thanks.

Is LSD going to fix their site any time soon? It is getting really annoying, and Id rather it be fixed as it is finals week, and I need some distraction.
Also, hair styles for guys for SA jobs? can I go a little shaggy? Sideburns?

Top 20 school, top 15%. What are my chances of clerking for Judge Judy? Also, anyone know if my firm will give me a clerkship bonus?
I am obviously only moderately serious
it sounds like a great idea...

wondering if anyone had any experience with 3L OCI in NY. I have a SA lined up in a different major market for my second year, and am considering possibly making a move for next year (only in the even I get cold offered, in case anyone at my firm is reading this). Anyway, top 15%, no journal, top 20 school. Feasible? I wont work for less then 160K, so nothing small/medium is even remotely appealing.

I hate to post one of these topics. Anyway:
No journal, top 20 school, top 15%. SA job 2L year (Am Law 100), respectable legal employment 1L year. No connections. My only real desire is to do something federal (not feasible to clerk without availability of clerkship bonus). Realize even district courts are probably a stretch considering no journal, but just wondering if that was still a shot and if I could possibly sneak in to a COA job somewhere. Location is flexible, but prefer some place warm.
Thanks for any help/advice. I wouldnt even ask, but I just begun exploring this option recently.

okay, i know there are threads on this a lot, but just wanted an objective opinion.
I met an absolutely amazing international student, she moves in 11 months back to her country. I stay here obviously. The dates we have been on are great and im in awe when i talk to her.
The question is whether I should:
1) break things off before I get too attached
2) stick with it, but keep things really chill and slow so we can enjoy each other but not be attached
3) go for it and see how it plays out then possibly buy a ring or move to a different country to avoid my student loans?
I know it seems like a weird question, but I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Hey, so I didnt know enough about the concept going in to OCI, and now that I have an SA I am slightly worried that I didnt ask more questions about cold offers. So, I figured I would ask yall.
1) anyone know what it takes to get a cold offer? Ive been told its nearly impossible to get a no offer, but these seem to be more prevalent.
2) anyone know a resource for determining how many cold offers are given? Nalp doesnt address this from what I have seen.
