Is it worth it? No shot at any editorial board positions, I would assume, but do you pick up some skills you'd miss otherwise?

Hi, I would greatly appreciate suggestions.
I am taking a class on healthcare provider compliance (so far it is covering medicare and medicaid fraud protection statutes and the like). I am not having trouble with the law so much as I am understanding how business dynamics work in the medical profession. (e.g. who are the employees vs. independent contractors in a medical business, how do pharmaceutical co's interact with dr's versus hospitals etc.) It is hard to describe, but it is tricky. Maybe I should just pick up a magazine about the field. Can anyone help? 3

Said he'd sit down, w/o condition, and talk w/ leaders of Cuba, Iran, N. Korea, etc...

Just wondering, if anyone who's taken it wants to enlighten me. I've been working independently on simple things such as case briefing, working through some hypos on some 1L E&E books... will tackle some exam prep work (e.g. LEEWS) soon.
Is there some other basic thing (that courses like Law Preview push) that would be advantageous to go over? 6

The latest Cooley thread had a lot of discussion on this term. Basically, it means to put a disproportionate number of scholarship students in the same section so that the vast majority do not get to keep them.
Do other schools do this? What kinds of questions can I ask admin / faculty to get a lead into determining this? 7

I'm in my premium membership edition of the USN rankings -- trying to figure out what they mean when they say "# of students in simulation courses"
Can this be thought of as a valid statistic, or will difft schools simply consider different courses to be "simulations" And what is simulated? Trials, arbitrations? anything else? 8

I'm falling back onto some random initial impressions, and this one kind of takes the cake.
Can this indicate the direction a school is going in? I can't help but to be a little turned off if one seems out of date or difficult to navigate. And even if it only took a couple days to make a nice one... well, can that effort / awareness mean anything? Sorry for sounding rediculous --- but anyone think this is important? EDIT: nevermind I just need to make a decision. What a dumb topic  10

(in particular I'm wondering how much I'll be setting aside w/ that gradPLUS loan - which seemed like the best option b/c it can be consolidated with the staffords and the rate is locked in.) I have a little bit in my piggy bank... not that much. I added that last response b.c obviously this is not something we all speak openly about day... But I'd like to hear what others think about this, seems that most of us will be in the same boat.
