Studying for the LSAT / The no digital TIMER IS STUPID .
« on: June 13, 2007, 09:04:10 AM »
The proctor is using a digital timer to keep exact time. He knows his watch would not be accurate. So how the hell are we suppose keep accurate time?

What the  no timer does is make you rush through problems. I was speed reading because i was nervous about my pacing. I think i even did the problems too fast.

It is a stupid rule that needs to be changed back ASAP for the september. Ther is no hard in having a digital timer. All proctors have to do is pace and make sure no one is cheating.

The thing about analog if you can not pace yourself.

Studying for the LSAT / The no Digital Timer screwed me
« on: June 11, 2007, 04:32:17 PM »
Anyone else? I know its my fault for not taking it seriously. But i could not pace myself. I could spent too little time on a problem. Or too long on a problem. So you end up rushing.

Next time i think i am going to wear a digital  watch and say forget it. You know the general amount of time you have with an analog. But it is hard to time yourself per problem.

This threw me off during the test too. I am trying to focus. And then i have a reading passage that i have already done in the powerscore course books.

The one about the attidues of the railroad .

It can really screw with you. You know you are doing pratice during the real test. It is hard to get back in gear.

I am not sure how the whole things works. I changed my test date because i screwed the test.

It is not showing my june test anymore. It is showing september. So do i still have to fax the cancellation?
