I have been told that during the OCIs, employers apply some sort of "discount" to your rank and I was wondering what a top 10% at a T3 could be considered by the firms recruiting at a T20 (GW)...

I come from a T3 and got in at a T20.
my gpa is 3.45 and I am top 12% from a well respected East Coast Tier 3 law school and I graded on to law review. The deadline to accept the offer of admission is very soon and I still have to receive a decision from DUKE, CORNELL and NORTHWESTERN. Since I also have to start thinking about housing etc., I'd like to know how likely it is to get in one of these schools... I know that I am not the typical applicant but if I had a decent chance, I would wait before I make my final decision. Thanks 7

I'd like to work in the corporate field for big law firms and either DC or NY is fine... I just want to keep as many doors open as possible... thanks 8

I am in the top 13% at NYLS and graded on to Law Review.
I was accepted at WUSTL (EA). What should I do? Go to WUSTL or stay at NYLS? (I'd like to do corporate law, so I need biglaw... if that is still possible...) Thank you! 9

If some big law firms interview at the new school only people in the
top 15% and one transfer student was in the top 15% at their old school, does it mean that they can be interviewed along with the top 15% students at the new school? Thanks |
