Does anyone know which situation would yield a greater financial aid package from a school?
A) $5,000 in bank account and $2,500 in outstanding UG loans B) $2,500 in bank account and $0 in outstanding UG loans I have the ability to pay off my UG loans right now but it would be nice to have that money in case something comes up. However, if paying off the loans will make me look more "needy" and thus increase my chances of receiving more aid I would want to do that. Any know the answer to this? 7

Attributed partially to the new LSAT policy and partially to the RC change in June. Depending on how much is due to the former, it could be bad sign for non-retaking waitlisters. 8

Where should I go next fall? / Northeasterners Seriously Considering Vandy« on: February 21, 2007, 04:00:56 PM »
I am still pending at a number of schools but am intrigued by Vandy due to its reputation and the fact that its firm placement is tops outside of the t14. I have lived in the northeast my entire life and have never been to the south but am finding myself more and more interested in the school.
Anyone else from the northeast in at Vandy and similarly interested?
