Hello:

I hope someone can help me out.  I attached my p.s. and other addendums to my LSAC account last year when I was applying for Fall 2008 but now that I'm applying for Fall of '09 I do not know how to move my attachments to my applications for Fall '09.  This wouldn't be a problem but for the fact that I lost the jump drive that held these docs.

Does anyone know how to move the attachments from '08 apps to '09 apps?

Thanks!!

Studying for the LSAT / When/how will score actually be released?
« on: February 08, 2008, 11:00:22 AM »
Is the score just released to the e-mail acct. we have on file with LSAC?

I've read that everyone thinks the score will be released in two weeks on Friday, Feb. 22nd.

If so, are the scores typically released in the morning, afternoon, or evening?

Are they all released at the same time?

Thanks.

Obviously, I'm anxious to get my score.

Where should I go next fall? / going part-time working full-time in DC
« on: December 27, 2007, 12:24:23 PM »
Does anyone here know good entry-level full-time jobs for recent college grads with liberal arts majors within a federal dept. or agency?  I want to work full-time and go to an area law school at night part-time.

Studying for the LSAT / getting faster with LG's
« on: September 16, 2007, 05:06:59 PM »
Just started seriously studying about 10 days ago for 9/29 exam.  I'm missing about 9 questions on each logic games question because I can't get to two games.  Typically, it takes me the whole time just to figure out the first two games, however, I always get them 100% correct.  Will speed come by just doing more and more practice sections?

Furthermore, I've found that I've gone from mission 3-4 on each L.R. section to only 0-1 as a result of just doing a lot of paraphrasing.  When I paraphrase, the correct answer is immediately identifiable.

Studying for the LSAT / LRB
« on: June 13, 2007, 07:35:53 PM »
I've found that the diagramming discussed on such pages as 137 with respect to LR is too cumbersome and complicated.

Should I try my best to learn that method for things that will be taught later on in the book?

I'm a pretty fast reader and when I do just some sample questions from LRB that want me to diagramm I find that I know the answer without doing the diagramming.

Frankly, I think I can do without it.  Is this a premature, immature mistake?

P.S. I haven't gone through LGB but I can see where it can really help there.

Law School Applications / Do I need a computer?
« on: June 10, 2007, 07:08:44 PM »
Hello:

I know I'll need a computer for ls but do I need(would having one be extremely helpful?)one to apply to law school?  I have access to a computer through my school's numerous computer labs but was just wondering if that was going to be a pain in the a* come fall.  I plan on applying to about 20 schools.

Thx.

Studying for the LSAT / LRB
« on: June 09, 2007, 11:33:00 PM »
Hello all:

I'm currently studying the LRB and am finding it very helpful. However, my only concern, is when I actually take real tests next month some of the Q&A's will be familiar because my memory is pretty good.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on how I could compensate? I thought about going through each LR section first to see if I've done any of the questions previously but I'm not sure about that.

Law School Applications / t-14
« on: June 03, 2007, 12:32:37 PM »
I've noticed that many ppl refer to the "t-14."  Why 14?  Why not 15?  I'm not being smart.  I'm just curious as to why 14.  Are those 14 seen as decidedly better than 15-30?

If so, with a 3.1 and nothing remarkable from a TTT univ., what do I need on LSAT to have realistic shot?

Just got through taking prep test 20 as diag.

Does anyone know the relative diff./easiness of this test?

Is there a break given during the actual LSAT?

Thanks.
