2011 Winter Multistate Bar Exam Questions and Answers at the link below.

Go help everyone remember all 200 questions:

I got a legal internship at the Federal Public Defender's Office.

My last final is on May 14th, I agreed to start the internship on May 18th.

I totally forgot about the Law Review write-on, which begins immediately after the last final.

I want to ask to start a week later in order to devote more time to the record.

How should I address this?  Phone?  E-Mail?

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Law School Admissions / Complete ACL Tear. Should I Defer?
« on: July 09, 2007, 09:52:25 AM »
I tore my ACL last weekend in a way that will require it be replaced.

Before surgery, I have to go through four weeks of rehab to strengthen all the sprained ligaments around the knee.  After that, surgery would require the ligament of a cadaver for my replacement.  No weight can be placed on the leg for four weeks after the procedure followed by a couple of months of rehab.

I will not be able to have surgery before I start school on August 27th.  I doubt I will have a month off to rest during the winter break, so that means I'm with a completely torn ACL for the first year of law school, walking on icy sidewalks with crutches.

What do I do?

Am I a fool if I try to go?

Am I justified if I request a deferral?

Law School Admissions / Poll For a Friend (please donate 2 cents)
« on: April 25, 2007, 05:09:45 AM »
A friend of mine is deciding between these two summer conditional programs.

NOVA is 6 weeks long with two classes (Negotiable Instruments and Criminal Procedure).  A 2.5 GPA guarantees a spot in the Fall 2007 Full Time program.  Cost is $3,500.

ST. THOMAS is 3 weeks long with 3 classes, each lasting a week (Torts, Contracts and Civil Procedure).  Placement in the top 20% guarantees a spot in the Fall 2007 Full Time program.  Cost is $1,500.

The two programs overlap, so both cannot be taken.

If you know anything about either program, please post.  My friend doesn't "do" these websites, so I'm helping her out.

Thank you!  :)

EDIT If you open this thread, please just vote, even if it's only based on the information posted.

Law School Admissions / Penn State Wait List (2 more weeks)
« on: April 21, 2007, 11:37:38 AM »

I spoke with the Director of Admissions yesterday and she informed me that offers will be made from the wait list within the next two weeks.  Of course there will be offers made throughout the summer all the way up to August, but the majority of those offers will come within the next two weeks.

Law School Admissions / Soft Factors' Future

Thanks a lot.  I'm just trying to get some opinions.  God willing I have more options and this isn't the final poll.  But, this very well could be, so I'm interested in the LSD perspective.

Thank you.
