I am getting ready for my civ. pro. final and already ordered the infamous E&E but I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions. My prof.'s approach to class was not to teach the rules but to lecture on abstract theories such as the importance of jurisprudence and conceptualizing injury. I'm not sure that the typical supplement will help me here. Are there any books that touch more on theory and policy? Perhaps the E&E will do the trick when it arrives but I was wondering if there were any other suggestions. Thanks.
So, I've figured out that living in Hoboken is about as expensive as Manhattan. Anyone know what the nice areas of Jersey City are? I don't know anything about it and don't know how to evaluate the ads on craigslist. Thanks.

When I got home today I had a note from UPS that I missed a delivery. I haven't ordered anything and am not epecting any packages so I got excited that it might be a thick law school envelope. Using the tracking number I figured out that the package origin was in Uniondale, NY. Could it be from St. Johns...or probably Hofstra? I already got my Tshirt from Hofstra, do they send another package?
What is in my UPS???
So, this morning I got an email from William and Mary that started out like this:
"As a law school applicant in William & Mary's prospect data base, we are sending this reminder that the application deadline is March 1."
The rest of the email talks about their low tuition and contact information and ways to apply. I didn't even apply here seeing as hopw my lsat borders on 160. Is this just another law school ploy to get more people to apply for their own sake? Should I feel flattered or just cheaply solicited?
