Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Cornell Status Checker
« on: February 09, 2007, 09:37:32 AM »
Hi everyone,

I checked my status on the Cornell website today and it went to Decision, yet underneath they gave me links to the Cornell Accepted Students website. Could this mean that I was accepted or do they add that link onto everyone's status? Could someone who was admitted let me know?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I have been searching for the list someone compiled of the schools that look at only the higher score vs. those who average. Can someone help me find that list or copy and paste it into this post?

Thanks!

Law School Admissions / Dec Test Scores
« on: November 26, 2006, 05:26:52 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question about LSAC and how our test scores get sent out. I took the September test, and I am going to take the test again in December. I decided to send my apps out already to get them in early with an addendum asking schools to wait to make a final decision on my application until the december test score is recieved. Will LSAC automatically send these schools my december test score when it comes out, or will I have to order a whole NEW batch of reports with an updated score?

Please let me know!

Thanks!

Law School Admissions / Certification Letters
« on: October 31, 2006, 08:42:56 AM »
Hello,

At the bottom of applications where it says to either sign your name or send in a separate certification letter, where am I supposed to find a certificiation letter? Also, when they say certify electronically, what does that entail? If someone could let me know that would be great.

Thanks!

Studying for the LSAT / 3.95, 161 (bummed)...Need Advice!
« on: October 20, 2006, 09:52:33 PM »
Does anyone have any ideas for me? I have good extracurriculars, I am a varsity athlete and attend a top 10 school. I knew the September test would not be pretty, but I think I could definately improve my score in December. What types of schools (preferably Eastern) do you think I have a shot at for reaches and middles? Should I wait to apply everywhere until I retake in December, or should I apply to a few now before it is late in the process? If you guys could help that would be great, I am pretty bummed and just need to feel better about SOMETHING.

Thanks!

Studying for the LSAT / LSAT Scores Cannot be displayed vs. unavailable
« on: October 17, 2006, 03:42:52 PM »
I don't know if this is reading too much into it, but I just signed into LSAC and have signed up for the December test just in case, and on my profile it says "the December score sheet is unavailable" while for the September test it says "the September score sheet cannot be displayed" It may not be worth anything, but I am getting so antsy!!

Hi everyone,

I have been looking at applications and was wondering what the best way is to organize your sheet of awards, personal statements etc (the one they want you to use descriptions on, not your resume) I was wondering if anyone has an example of their activities and extracurriculars sheet and if they could PM it to me so I could see how it should be organized!

Thanks!

Studying for the LSAT / LSAT vs. GPA vs. Everything else
« on: October 04, 2006, 08:12:45 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I never really use this board, but I have a question. I was wondering what everyone thinks the lowest possible LSAT score would be if you have like a 3.94 from an Ivy League School and many honors, extracurriculars etc. I was pretty bummed about the test, but decided to ride it out and see what I will get. I am hopeful for the best but guessing I will probably have around a 163-4. With a 164 or so will I still have a shot at any of the top schools if I got my applications in early? Would my GPA take any consideration away from a lower LSAT? If you have any ideas, let me know!

Thanks!
