General Board / Does anyone else feel....?
« on: October 04, 2007, 09:48:13 PM »
Does anyone else feel that they are paying 90k over 3 yrs to learn how to spot issues and use westlaw/ lexis? I actually enjoy my classes- usually find the material interesting, but I don't see how that translates to practicing. Is anyone else having trouble reconciling the fact that they will be sitting at a computer 5,10,20 yrs from now combing through cases on often less than inspiring issues?

I don't want to be too negative but just wondering if anyone else feels the same and what their thoughts are regarding finishing school, to practice or not, etc. ??? :-[ :-\ :'( :(
