So, we have one more week before Orientation begins and our pre-law school easy living days are over. How's everyone feeling?

A word of advice: If you were planning to order your books online from the Coop, don't. I called to check on the progress of my order and they are just starting to process orders from JULY. Books that were ordered when our booklists came out last week are not scheduled to ship out until the middle of next week (meaning we probably won't have them in time for class).

Apparently, if you plan to attend the welcome bbq after the first day of orientation you have to RSVP. There is a new tab in the "orientation info" section on Freshlaw. It also allows you to RSVP for your children, spouses, partners etc.

Anybody who is from the Austin area/currently lives in the Austin area have a recommendation for a good car dealership? I'm looking to buy a late model pre-owned car (not a truck/SUV) and don't want to get screwed over by a bad dealership.

I've heard that Central Market is like a foodie's Heaven.
Anyone in Austin been there/recommend it? I love grocery shopping and our fridge is getting low so I thought I'd check it out. I saw on their website that there were two Austin locations: in your opinion is one better than the other? 9

Hi Everyone,
I know some of you have mentioned knowing 2L's & 3L's at UT so I thought you might have the answer to this one: Does anyone know how we get the syllabi for our classes once the schedules come out? Word from the Admissions office is that schedules are going out around August 1. I know we'll have reading to do for the first day of classes but I wasn't sure if we got syllabi during orientation or if they were available online etc. Thanks, Jess 10
