Where should I go next fall? / Dont you need to make a decision

Just a question...

Are most people posting here going to school in fall 2004?! if so, dont you have to make your decision by now?!  How can people still be so unsure?  I start school in like 1.5 months from today and cant imagine not knowing?

Okay, so on my lunch break i'm sitting in a coffee shop reading PLS and this lady comes up to me and say "dont you want to go to heaven?"  (Now there are alot of cracked-out hippy's where i live so this isnt so strange...) The lady then proceeds to tell me that lawyers are the employees of the devil and that she has prayed to jesus about what to do and he told her to "save as many lawyers as she can"  She tells me that if i pray and accept jesus into my life then i too can go to heaven...as long as i find a more suitable career "for a girl". I swear I'm not exaggerating at all!!!!!!

Jesus freaks are the absolute worst!!!

Okay, so this prob. sounds like a dumb question but i'm going to ask it anyways...What do people think about getting a dog the summer after 1L...am i crazy to be thinking about it cause of the workload i'll have?!  I just need other opinions since i have the uncanny ability to convince myself that the idea is totally logical-even if its not!

I saw a post a while ago about taking casebooks to kinkos to have them rebound into small segments that are easier to haul around-that sounds like a great idea i never would have thought of.

Are there any other tips that you law students out there have for us future 1L's that are in this vain of advice?  (any future 1L's with ideas are also welcome to join in...i dont want to exclude anyone) :-*

   I had an interesting run in with a soon to be 1L that was so insane i felt it had to be shared with the masses...
   So this girl finds out that I'm going to  law school and she asks "have you started your reading yet because i've already bought the books for my classes and have started reading all the cases that were assigned last year (at her soon to be school i expect) and next week i'm going to start briefing and that way i can get everything done by the time school starts so that i'll have all term to study for exams and then i'm thinking of getting my books for the second sememester..."  I kid you not-this was all one sentence that went on for at least 4 min, she was red in the face and talking in this creepy crazy voice.
   When i told her that i was just going to read a few legal history/philosophy books i thought she was going to strangle me.
   If you meet anyone like this, shoot them to put them out of their misery!!!
