My tentative plan is to visit the schools I've narrowed it down to BEFORE their respective ASWs, and then only attend the ASW of the school I plan to attend. Is this a bad idea? I'd like to be commited somewhere by March-ish, and it seems like most ASWs are early April. It also seems like most schools expect that seat deposit around ASW time. What's eveyone's strategy here? Anyone planning on paying the seat deposit somewhere, but continuing to hold out for somewhere else? Anyone paying multiple seat deposits and going to multiple ASWs? Just curious...

So I'm ready to turn down my safety schools and their acceptance packages don't tell me how to do that. There's no letter of intent to mail in with a decline option. What's the most appropriate way to go about this? Do I just e-mail admissions directly? Has anyone else had to do the same?

I saw this mentioned on another part of the board and any time I see someone endorse something expensive I get suspicious. I had never heard of it before, so I'm kind of curious. Any thoughts?

that's actually going? I know a bunch of 170+ have been accepted, but they've also been accpeted to HYS. Vandy's my forbidden love, and I'm trying to get an idea of who else he's been courting. Anyone been accepted that knows they'll be turning it down? Maybe? Hopefully? Please?

So I got into UGA, which I applied to more as a safety, but I'm really curious about what it's like. I went to UF for undergrad so I have a lot of experience with UGA folks and I know them to be a fun breed. I imagine it to be one of the most enjoyable places to go to school. I'm leaning towards working in Jacksonville after graduating, which is often called the capital of southern Georgia so I'm wondering if a UGA degree will be at least as marketable as a UF degree in Jax. If any current UGA students have any thoughts on any of this I'd love to hear it

So I applied to Emory a few weeks ago and they've already cashed my $70 application fee check. Then today I got a fee waiver in the mail. Is it ok for me to POLITELY ask for a refund or would that be in poor taste? Could it hurt my chances of getting in? Has anyone dealt with the same situation? Thanks!

The rankings have Emory above a few of the schools I've applied to, but LSAC says my odds of getting into Emory are better than at some of the schools ranked below it. I can't figure this out. Do they accept fewer out of state students or something like that? Their median GPA is lower than comparable schools. I just don't get exactly what's going on here. Any other thoughts on Emory in general?

Ok, not really. But if we beat Ohio State, then I think we should. Nothing makes better lawyers than going to a school full of champions

I got into William and Mary and was offered a Graduate Fellowship. Any current W&M students have any opinions they'd like to share? I'd love to hear more about the school first-hand. Thanks!
