Anyone else get this? It just asks you to accept or decline their offer so they can distribute the funds elsewhere.
I haven't even received a scholarship award letter, so maybe this is good news? WUStL is like the flirtatious pretty girl that teases me.

Anyone else going? I'm pulling double duty this weekend, hitting up both UT and W&L.

I'm in a huge bind.
I absolutely fell in love with WashU when I visited last week. However, of my 3 remaining options, it is by far the most expensive. I haven't heard anthing about scholarship money from them, nor do I expect to hear about anything huge.
The other options I'm weighing are Tennessee with a full ride and W&L with $9k/year.
I've gotten especially skiddish of debt lately...I just don't like the idea of taking out loans in the 6 figures and not living in what I used the money to buy. But I'm a realist, and I know my opportunities will be much greater if I go to WashU or W&L.
As far as my goals, I'm pretty open-minded about what I'll do after law school. I would hate to HAVE to do biglaw just to pay off my loans if I go to WashU or W&L. So, I might have more options (in a roundabout way) by going with the money.
I know this is long and rambling, but I'm just trying to get more advice about this thing. Everyone around me (family, friends) think I'm crazy for even thinking about anywhere else after getting a full tuition offer.

It's still relatively early, but I know most of the people on this board have probably already narrowed their decision down to a handful of schools. What are they? What are you still waiting on that could affect your decision? If you had to choose today, here are you going this fall?
For me, I'm pretty much set on either WashU or W&L. My decision letter mailed from UVA yesterday, and a huge scholarship offer from UTK might enter into the mix, but all things considered, if I chose today it would be W&L.

I'm strongly considering it, so I have some questions about things.

I'm sitting down to finally write my letters of continued interest, and I'm already stumped as to whom the letters should be addressed. "Dear Admissions Committee:"? "Dear Dean XX"? I tried searching, and most threads pertained to content, not form.
What has everyone else done?

I'm especially wondering for Northwestern students... Where do you guys live? Are there decent places around campus that aren't too extravagently priced, or do almost all students commute from the burbs? Do places get much cheaper on the outskirts?
I'm just wondering if pursuing NU after they placed me on hold is even feasible given the high COL and my limited resources...

Kinda surprised by this. Am I a strong enough candidate that I can assume this was a YP move? If it is, it was a good one on their part, since I'm going to withdraw now.
I was counting on them to help give me a winning season (more than 50% of apps accepted). Oh well. This is like losing to the Lions.

I thought for sure I was getting dinged when I got the e-mail at 8:25p.
