I'm wondering how long after acceptance phone call acceptance letter arrived. It's been a couple of weeks for me. I've received a small booklet and 2 cd's but no acceptance letter itself ???

Thanks.

Law School Applications / Stanford LOR form necessary?
« on: November 04, 2006, 03:05:49 PM »
Did Stanford accept anyone that did not complete a Form C (the school's LOR form) last year? One of my prof has gone away for vacation and I won't be able to apply until mid-December unless I send my LSAC LOR's instead of a school-specific letter. What's better? Now + no Form C or mid-December + Form C?

Law School Applications / Admission Deferral Policies
« on: August 22, 2006, 03:23:32 PM »
Which of the top law schools allow perspective students to defer admission for one or more years? So far I've found

Stanford - 1yr
Columbia - 1yr
Harvard - ?
Yale - no deferrals *

Does anyone know what HLS' policy is?

*EDIT: Yale - 1 yr, which means all schools probably grant deferrals.

It's silly for a "top lawyer" to break the law for a fee on moving an unimpressive $750,000. A top lawyer in the US would have never taken this risk because they earn much higher salaries.
