Law School Admissions / GW Completion?

Does GW send notices of completion?  I applied about 15 days ago and haven't heard a peep from them.

Law School Admissions / Admissions calculators are so flawed...
« on: January 20, 2008, 04:31:56 PM »
Has anyone else noticed this?  I obviously never thought they were 100% accurate but I've been accepted by W&M where, according the LSAC calculator, I had a 25% chance of getting in and got rejected by GMU where I had a 75% chance of getting in...

Law School Admissions / Question about Law School Apps...
« on: July 20, 2007, 08:32:15 AM »
So, I've been reading over some of the apps that are up already on LSAC and I noticed that they all ask you to list what other law schools you're applying to.  I am worried that if I tell one school that I'm applying to a bunch of "better" law schools, that they will assume I'll get into one of them and then reject me anyway because they don't think I'd attend.  Does this happen?  Are you all going to really list every LS to which you're applying?  Thanks...

Law School Admissions / Question about CRS
« on: July 12, 2007, 12:05:49 PM »
There is a question on LSAC that is used for CRS about your "highest degree earned."  Do they mean as of now, or what degree you'll earn when you graduate? (Because I don't technically have the degree yet...)

Law School Admissions / Applying to Part-Time programs...
« on: July 12, 2007, 09:13:35 AM »
Why do so many people apply to PT programs (at GULC, etc.)  Is this because they actually plan on going part-time because they work or can you apply to the part-time program and them somehow switch to full-time?  I know the requirements for PT programs are lower so I was just wondering if this is a way that people "sneak" into better law schools..?

I know this might be a really dumb question so no flames please! lol  :)

Law School Admissions / Yield protect?

I keep hearing people discussing admissions/waitlists and such, and using the term "yield protect."  What does this mean exactly?
