I withdrew... bought a condo in Nashville, so I'm def going to Vandy even if Duke eventually accepted me. 2

I have to have a 10 page paper on Evil and Terrorism in the political climate written by 9 am tomorrow morning. I am supposed to respond to the following statement "Terrorism - the mass murder of civilians for political ends - is evil" Should be a relatively easy topic, but I have major writers block and need a little help. I think i'm going to argue that evil is a completely subjective concept based on the moral code of a specific society and that it would be better to use a word such as "unjust" to describe acts of terrorism. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter so to speak. (clearly not condoning it, but I took too many philo courses this semester and now i'm burned out.)
Help with ideas? examples? anything?

When is Vandy's deposit deadline? I haven't gotten that letter yet and will be putting a deposit down no matter what... Does anyone know when the deadline is??

Damn... that was a surprise... first rejection of the cycle always stings a little though... oh well. not like i was going to go there anyway (boyfriend was rejected from their med school - odd with a 39 MCAT and a 3.9 GPA but whatever) 5

Vanderbilt is quickly rising on the "I hope to God I get in" rankings. Can anyone tell me more about this school? I think that now it's pretty much my number one mildly realistic choice. 169 LSAT. 3.2 GPA. Philosophy Major but Chemistry Minor for 2 years... grrr Orgo and Physics.
So I've heard that the quality of life is really quite good, and that it has a decent national recognition factor. Anyone have anything to add? I haven't been to visit yet, but I definitely want to! 7

So, WUSTL is a top 20 school (I think it actually /is/ 20) but no one on this board seems to be too keen on it. Whats so wrong with WUSTL? are the job prospects significantly worse if I want to go into east coast law?

Anyone have any reccomendations as to what I should put on the Application for "parental contribution to first year law school expenses" if I don't know that yet???
Really scared to actually submit... but glad I'm getting it over with!
