« on: November 10, 2006, 12:57:49 AM »
I got a 173, ok.

I'm a friggin' URM. So...

My damn GPA is 2.40.

I'd love to attend Michigan. I feel very fukk'd because of my GPA without the courtesy of a reach-around..

Minority and Non-Traditional Law Students / Do MBA's earn more than JD's?

I've always wanted to know. And if their salaries are comparable, why are JD/MBA grads looked down upon?

What's the lowest GPA you've heard of getting into the hallowed T14? Both URM & Non-URM included. Damn the LSAT for this right now. I'm not concerned with that.

Studying for the LSAT / OK Help ...
« on: October 21, 2006, 08:34:43 AM »
I got a 173. But my roommate got a 136. I didn't even tell her. I told her I got a 154 so she wouldn't feel any worse. She is going to retake in either DEC or FEB.

Question is this: Is FEB too late in the game? Even though she'd be 33 going in, she doesn't mind waiting a year to start and applying for Fall 2008.

or

Does she have sufficient time for preparation for the DEC exam? What could, would and should she do for prep?

Please be serious in your reply. She's sinking into depression and I could really use your advice to help her out.

Thank you..

« on: October 19, 2006, 10:43:32 PM »
I'm staying up all night drinking. That way I'll sleep all the way until around 4:00pm. Less anxiety spent awaiting test score release.  ;)
