Non-Traditional Students / Another Air Force guy Bailing Out« on: June 23, 2006, 03:02:48 PM »
Hi, all. As I've posted in a couple places, I'm going to be leaving Active Duty in the next two years to (hopefully) get a joint JD/MBA. I have a weak GPA (2.9 in Computer Engineering at U of Miami, FL), so I know how important the LSAT and soft factors are. Wow, that just rolled off my toungue--three weeks ago I wouldn't have known a "soft factor" if I stepped on it!
In any event, I wanted to poll some of your considerable knowledge to help figure out how to strengthen my application aside from the LSAT, and where I should probably concentrate. Interested in Business Law, Contracts, Securities, Tax and even (gasp) Intellectual Property Law. If I decide to be poor, I'd love to work in public service someday. I am a pilot (recently medically grounded--hence the earlier than anticipated departure), pinning on major next week, and I'll have 11 years of service, including combat aviation, when I apply next cycle (2007 for 2008 start). Oops, forgot, I'm 31, married, no kids. Thoughts? Thanks, ya'll! ~Chris

Studying for the LSAT / Best Test Centers near Raleigh-Durham, NC« on: June 07, 2006, 11:15:06 AM »
Hi, all, how are you? Yes, I'm quite the newbie! I've been lurking for awhile, mostly in the non-trad area and have lots of questions, but best to start with one, no?
Q: Does anyone know of the best LSAT test center in the Raleigh-Durham area in terms of space, crowd, etc...? Thank you so much! Now let me see if I can figure out how to get a signature attached... ![]() ~Chris
