General Board / Can You Have A Life in Law School?

Lets say your going to a Tier 2, for instance somewhere like a Rutgers. Is it still possible to have a life and still be one of the better students. Im I going to have to study 12 hours a day. I can see myself treating it like a 9 to 5 and going to work every day but I hear people acting like they pull late nights every night.

So I guess my question really is how is your life in law school? also how are your grades?

Thats what I am down to so far as I wait on decisions from 3 other schools(Rutgers Camden, Hastings, St. Johns). I am also on the Villanova waitlist.

I'm instate at Rutgers and have family in NJ. But Newark is not a desirable place to live. I have never been to GSU but have heard good things about Atlanta. I was wondering how the job prospects are out of GSU compared to Rutgers Newark. What would you choose?

Is there time for sports? lifting? dating? fun? Im having doubts about giving up 3 years of my prime to books.

I submitted an application on Feb. 28 and forget to send an extra essay in for a special program. I went complete on March 18, would they still put the essay in my file if I gave it to them?

Where should I go next fall? / How does Loyola University place in California?

I placed an application there and just wanted to get some insight as to how the school is viewed in California.  I would love to in LA so if I got in I would strongly consider it, Going to Lakers games(huge fan) and the ability to work in a warmer area is big to me.

Sorry to do one of these but I just sent out some apps today and will e sending more on Monday...Do you guys think I have a shot at any of these schools. My parents urged me to apply to some reaches so I did. I was Captain of my college bball team and did a good amount of community service(mentoring young troubled African Americans)

Yes im a URM(black dude), college athlete,and some other EC's...My GPA is a result of just not doing any work.

Im retaking it on the 29th and I hope to break 165. I think I can afford to apply to 10 schools plus I still have my fee waivers from last year...

Can any suggest some schools to apply too? Im trying to stay on the East Coast as well.

How is this very tentative list(I will modify if/when I raise my score)

Studying for the LSAT / Did this Test feel Really Easy...

unlike all my practice tests it felt easy. I had trouble with a few LR but the games and RC were cake.  Im worried that the scale is going to be really hard. It might have been because it was REAL, i was way more focus and didnt have my usal zoneouts.  I was so mentally tired i feel asleep 20 minutes into the writing sample.


Does any1 else think this test was extremely easy???

Hey i was just wondering if you guys can help me find some good schools to apply to:

2.75 GPA Econ and Poli Sci.
D3 bball and track
URM-black
some activities nothing AMAZING
Sept 30 LSAT - Have been scoring from 160- 165 some were taken under good conditions at PR
Top 50 LAC

So if i get the lower end of my prep scores like a 160 where should I apply??? if i get the higher end????

I wanna stay on the east coast.
