Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Michigan vs Virginia
« on: April 19, 2008, 05:06:30 AM »
Dear all

I have already checked the discussion board about this topic. There seems everyone agrees that these two schools are really at the same level. So I still can't make my mind.

The reason I wanna go to Michigan is that my undergraduate school is kind of a liberal art school. So I always dreaming about going to a school that contains with great medical or engineering school. However, everybody says Ann Arbor is really cold. I don't like to live in such a cold environment.

On the other hand, the reason I want to go to Virginia is that it locates near to DC, and more comply with my career goal. However, you guys seems like Ann Arbor better than C-ville, and I may feel boring if I go to a school that similar to my undergraduate.

What will you guys think? Is Ann Arbor really that wonderful than C-ville?
Any advice will be thankful?

Current Law Students / Any currect UVA students?
« on: April 05, 2008, 04:22:20 AM »
Hello. I am looking for UVA current students.

From the school website I found the meal plan for law students only covers breakfast and lunch. I have written to the school to ask could law students participate other meal plan in schools. The school replied that because other meal plan are located far from the law school, so it's unlikely for law students to attend other meal plan.

I would like to know how you guys take care of the dinner in UVA law school, I mean, is there any way that law students don't need to cook (eat in the student restaurant) and still eat cheap.

Thank you
