Law School Applications / Berkeley amd UCLA- completion status

Hey guys. i see from lsn someone was even accepted already to Berkeley and UCLA.
How did they notify you that you went complete? After you sent them an electronic app and it is deemed accepted: do you need to email/call them or how did it go?

What`s your opinion: should you state in the PS for your #1 choice school that it is your #1 on the list and that you will 100% accept admission in case you get it?
in case ths school has no ead program.
