Too tired to focus on doing real, actual work at the moment...so I'll do one of these for a bit.

Already planned on going to BU (and still do, at the moment) but I was just accepted FT @ GW. Under no circumstances would I have considered a PT spot w/ BU on the table, but GW was my top (realistic) choice from the beginning given my interest in the DC area...
Here's the situation:
I have a lease signed in Beantown; I could find someone else to take my spot, though, if necessary (I think)
That said, I like my roommate, and don't want to screw him over by bailing at the last moment.
DC is closer to my GF which is important to me, but it's not my foremost concern by any means.
I have no idea how long I have to mull this over, but I imagine the clock is ticking...what should I do and why? Hearing other informed people's opinions will be very helpful for me in making my decision.

Has anyone else seen this? Man, oh man is it hysterical. I wish I knew how to link it, but I think you can find it by changing this link: http://[your school name goes here].facebook.com/photo_search.php?oid=2261202333&view=all
This is so incredibly funny...
It's practically official for me. A lot of things would have to change for me to change my decision...basically an acceptance off the WL. Barring any craziness, I'll be at BU next year and I'm very, very excited about it. Who's with me!?
Anyone going? I was supposed to visit BU this weekend, but missed my train and will (likely) be heading up next Friday for the day. Since I never saw the mailing, can anyone post details (ie. when it starts/ends/what there is, etc.). It'd be very helpful for me in making my plans.

NYC --> NC
That's gotta be culture shock.
Either way, http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USNC0120?from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_undeclared makes me
Okay, so it's clear now that nothing will change in my cycle. I'll probably get dinged/WL from the rest of the schools pending with the exception (perhaps) of GW (PT) and Fordham. I'm fine with all of these schools, but I always wanted UPenn (for several reasons) and am not ready to give up on this dream. To transfer up to a T10 school from a school ranked 17-27 what do you need to do? Top 15%? Top 10%? What? Anyone have any experience with this? How competitive is it...? I had several great opportunities to transfer from UG and, at the time, my class rank wasn't nearly as great as it ended up being. Is it similar for LS?
I'm going to choose a school based on what feels right for me, and knowing full well that I might be unable to leave but I would still like some insight into how this process works, because I'll do whatever it takes to position myself best to fulfill my dream.
