Law School Rankings / Will new ABA LSAT reporting policy affect next year's USNEWS rankings?

I've heard that the policy requiring schools to report the highest LSAT versus the average score doesn't take effect until 2007.

Does this mean that next year's USNWR rankings will still reflect LSAT averages?

Financial Aid / Are we not allowed to work during 1L?

I've heard that 1L's are forbidden to contact law firms prior to December, and that we're not supposed to work during our first year.

Is there any truth to this?

I want to avoid the pain of impending dings by withdrawing via e-mail before getting the axe. 

If I withdraw before a decision is made, will they send me anything in the mail anyway??

Law School Applications / Time to give up on Boalt?

I haven't heard a word since the "faculty review" e-mail, and everyone during the last few days has been dinged.

Also, Boalt is closed next week for spring break, and I would think that they would have gotten their final wave of acceptances out before then. 

Is it time for me to throw in the towel?  Am I holding on to false hope?
