« on: March 30, 2012, 01:52:24 PM »
So today, much to my amazement, I was admitted into Brooklyn law. I was pretty convinced I was going to Suffolk before this news. It doesn't matter to me where I go to school I like both NYC and Boston a lot. Any help would be fantastic thanks everyone!

Choosing the Right Law School / Southwestern vs. Chapman
« on: January 24, 2012, 08:27:44 PM »
So I recently found out that I got into both Chapman and Southwestern and I am heavily considering both. It is a very tough decision for me to pick between the two. Does anyone have any good advice?

Incoming 1Ls / Environmental law
« on: January 12, 2012, 02:10:19 PM »
I was wondering if anyone is studying environmental law or is an environmental lawyer. I heard that its a tough area to get into because its really dry material and doesn't pay much. I am curious to see how true that is.

My fall semester just ended and I received my final grades. Do these grades need to be sent out to the law schools I applied to/got accepted to?
Thanks in advance.

Visits, Admit Days, and Open Houses / Any Reviews on Southwestern
« on: November 16, 2011, 09:16:48 PM »
Hey I am from the East Coast and also applying to a bunch of schools on the West Coast so visiting isn't the easiest option. Does anyone have any insight personally, or second hand knowledge of the school? I appreciate any feedback.

Visits, Admit Days, and Open Houses / Chapman Law School
« on: September 13, 2011, 05:01:17 PM »
Hey does anyone have any insight into the Chapman Law School in California. I knew its a relatively young school but it is ranked tier 2 and top 100 law schools. I have been considering entertainment law and I know they have a pretty extensive program but I don't know anything more than the information they sent/their website.
Any additional information would be very appreciated.

Visits, Admit Days, and Open Houses / visit to New York Law School
« on: August 10, 2011, 11:56:20 AM »
I visited NYLS today and was very impressed. The building is very modern with incredable views of the city.the library was also very nice with plenty of places to study. There was also plenty of places to sit and study throughout the entire building. It seems they offer a lot of differnt subjects of law. They also seem to offer a decent amount of clinics and law journals. The price tag is the only thing that concerns me but they have a priced fix menu if you will. Your tuition remains the same for all three years. Allegedly this makes NYLS competitivly priced in the NYC area.

I just got my LSAT back with a 157 and I have a 3.2 GPA. Some of my top choices include Suffolk Law and New York Law School. I've heard a lot about NYLS but not much about Suffolk other than that its in Boston. Anybody have any insight on the school?

Studying for the LSAT / Awaiting LSAT Scores
« on: June 20, 2011, 12:16:12 PM »
I personally am getting so anxious about getting the results of the LSAT. I think I did well on it but the suspense is killing me. Does anyone have any predictions of when the scores will be sent. I think the LSAC website said they are supposed to come in on the 29th.. but apparently they always come in earlier?
