Santa Clara / IP law

Are all of you interested in IP law?  I'm wondering what percent of SCU students are going into patent law specifically?  What others areas have a strong following at SCU?

Where should I go next fall? / USD vs Santa Clara

Am I crazy to even be considering Santa Clara over USD?  I THINK I want to work in san fran when i gradute.  Is it just an issue of where I want to work afterwards or should I be thinking about rank which is 60 vs 90ish more?

Where should I go next fall? / USD Evening program???

So I got accepted today at USD, however I got into the evening program instead of the day one.  Is anyone else doing this evening program?  What are the advantages/disadvantages?  They say you can still graduate in three years (by doing summer school during IL summer).  I guess part of my question is, are the people in the evening program the ones who wanted/needed to work, or are they mostly people whom USD deemed not as competitive?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Where should I go next fall? / Study Abroad

Is anyone else thinking of studying abroad for a semester or summer?  Does anyone know if it looks bad to study abroad instead of getting a IL job?  Also I wonder if it is hard to be approved for the programs.  At NYU i think you needed to be in the top certain percent to get to go.  Any thoughts?

Where should I go next fall? / Pepperdine and Religious aspect

I'm worried about going to Pepperdine because I have heard it is ultra-religious and conservative and also that the firms that hire Pepp graduates are very similar.  I myself am not at all religious and I don't want to put myself into a class of people that i don't necessarily jell with.  Does anyone have any thoughts about this?  Also is this a good school?
