Suggest others and I'll add them to the poll . . . I love Sriracha!

EDIT: Votes have been reset to reflect additions to the poll - vote again if necessary.

General Off-Topic Board / PSA: The law is great except for two things...

1) It's expressed through the imperfect signifiers of language.
2) When parties dispute what is signified, human beings must choose one meaning from amongst an infinite multitude of potentially valid interpretations.

Other than that, the law seems to me like it's in pretty good shape.

Yep, we're goin' back to the moon!  This time, we're not just going to up and leave for 50 years right after we get there . . .

US plans permanent base on Moon

US space agency Nasa has said it plans to start work on a permanently-occupied base on the Moon after astronauts begin flying back there in 2020.

The base is likely to be built on one of the Moon's poles and will serve as a science centre and possible stepping stone for manned missions to Mars.

The US has already said it plans to build a new lunar spacecraft to succeed the last Apollo mission in 1972.

Funds will be moved from space shuttle flights, due to be scrapped in 2010.

The structure of the base and the exact duties of the astronauts stationed there have not been decided.

Nor is it clear when the base will begin functioning.

Do you pee in the shower?

Do you enjoy having sex with four midgets at once?

Do you like having cucumbers/zucchinis/other large blunt objects shoved into your various orifices?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!

This has got to stop.

Can we get a separate board for all of the sex/bodily function posts?  Although I have no idea why people feel the need to post these to a LAW SCHOOL message board, I've never been one to advocate censorship.

I'm sick of clicking on the "unread posts" link and seeing a bunch of garbage from pervs and horny teenagers.  It discourages the use of this site by people who might be more inclined to use it at work.  I wish the people who post this crap would take it to a more relevant board, but I know that's probably not going to happen anytime soon.  For the love of God, mods, please do something!

I'm having no luck, but I think the phrase has potential.  Any takers?

Just wanted to get the message out: I like to help people move, I'm good at it, I'm cheaper than professionals you'll find elsewhere, and I'm far more reliable than the average guy you'd pick up off the street.  Save $$ and help a fellow law student earn a few extra bucks.

I have professional experience, working with Allied Van Lines in Charlottesville, VA for 2 summers during college

Just this Thursday, I helped greengrl load her truck in Chicagoland and move to Iowa City.  We loaded her apartment onto a truck, drove to Iowa City, unloaded the truck and made it back to Chicago in about 12 hours, including short breaks for lunch and dinner.

I'm more interested in doing local moves (loading or unloading) next week, which will be my last full week in Chicago.

$20/hr, one-hour minimum.  Moving tips (in addition to poignant, profound observations on the meaning of life) included at no extra charge.

PM me if interested - you won't be disappointed!
