Studying for the LSAT / Take the exam again?
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:00:02 PM »
I took the exam last December, and I scored a 158. I have a 3.3 GPA from a Ivy League school. Should I retake the LSAT or do I stand a good chance of getting into a decent law school?

appreciate any thoughts :)

Studying for the LSAT / 2 Weeks before Test and Score Not High Enough
« on: November 14, 2011, 02:15:46 PM »
I am taking the December 3rd LSAT, and right now I am getting 161 on my practice tests.

I have been taking 2-3 practices tests a week, reviewing the practice tests, practicing types of questions I get wrong, and working on timing. I would like to bring my score up to 168 at least.

What else should I be doing? And how best should I use the days I have left?

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Studying for the LSAT / LSAT: Mixing Study Material
« on: April 16, 2011, 11:05:44 PM »

Right now I am living in a small town that doesn't offer any LSAT courses that I need. I plan on moving closer to a city that offers TestMasters in June, but until then I WANT/NEED to start studying. So my question...

Would it hurt my score/ be confusing if I started studying using the Princeton LSAT Review and then switched to the TestMasters? Or am I just worrying over nothing?

I'd REALLY APPRECIATE any advice. Specifically am I being silly.

My GPA sucks, so I don't want to take any chances with doing my best on the lsat.

Law School Admissions / Advice needed!!
« on: January 02, 2011, 06:25:06 PM »
I just graduated in May and just realized I'm interested in applying to law school asap. I plan on taking a LSAT prep course but I'm wondering if there's anything else I need to do. I have a 3.0 gpa from a top 10 school double majoring in English and Africana Studies. My extra-currics have been editor of journals on campus and creative writing projects, summer teaching Katrina victims in New Orleans as well as local tutoring in English and writing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
