Just curious how far away everyone will be living from the school you will be attending. I'm moving to Orange County, CA area and I'm trying to decide which area I want to move to. How far away do you think is too far?

Financial Aid / Private loan question« on: May 18, 2006, 11:04:04 PM »
I am in the process of applying for private loans and I was going to apply to a few places to see what rates I can get. Now, I just recently charged my laptop to my credit card and I was wondering if having that charge on my card would affect the interest rates I would be offered. I have paid off my card in full every month previous and have good credit. I just don't know if having a large charge on my card while applying for the loans would be viewed negatively. Any insight would be appreciated.

I received my acceptance to Chapman today!
 More than anything I'm just happy the whole process is now over! I'll be withdrawing my seat from Suffolk. Ate the deposit but oh well. I think I would have been happy there but I'm really happy to be going back to California.Good luck to everyone else!

Just wondering if anyone else is still waiting on Chapman. I'll be attending their open house tomorrow but I'm still waiting on a decision...

Where should I go next fall? / Syracuse and Suffolk« on: March 24, 2006, 08:05:46 PM »
As far as job prospects go do you think I would do any better at a particular school. From what I hear Suffolk has a pretty loyal alumni base in Boston but then there is also a lot of competition for jobs there with all the surrounding schools. Syracuse has the bigger name but I don't know if it would do any better regionally than Suffolk. Any thoughts?

From what I've read it sounds like just between the two schools Syracuse is the better school but I would come out with less debt at Pace. The scholarship is $10,000 renewable assuming I do well enough. I'm from San Diego living in Phoenix so I'm trying to learn more about both areas as well. I've read a little info but more opinions/advice would be helpful.
