Transferring / Transfer from Cooley« on: February 22, 2011, 09:54:33 AM »
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer from Cooley to a T1 if I am in the top 10% of my class?? Any success stories would be greatly appreciated, and will make me feel a lot better about my chances!! Thank you in advance, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Well, I finally received my acceptance letter, and will be starting school on May 2nd, 2011. I have read numerous discussion threads and blogs deterring students from going to Cooley, but I guess I just want to hear some feedback from current students or alumni. Are the myths true? Is there a massive curve that I am going to battle, and an unscrupulous attrition rate to overcome?? I like to think of myself as an intelligent individual, but things of this nature make me a little uneasy. Law is something that I want to make a career out of, and I would really like to spend my time at law school learning and retaining information instead of kicking, screaming, and trying to keep my head above water. Any information would be greatly appreciated, as I need to make a final decision in the next few weeks. Thank you in advance, and I hope you have a fantastic day!
